February
While February is known for Valentine’s Day, don’t forget the other days and weeks that make this a great month to celebrate. Study up and remember United States history by celebrating African American History Month and President’s Day. Be positive, kind and humble; and focus more on your health and the health of those around you. So give some chocolates or flowers to your loved ones and get to know these great causes.
Celebrate the Month:
African American History Month – Celebrate the contributions that African Americans have made to American history in their struggles for freedom and equality. Deepen your understanding of our nation’s history.
National Hearth Month – Learn about strategies for preventing heart disease and start making heart healthy choices.
Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day – Think positive and look on the bright side. Do not worry or stress over the little things. With a positive attitude, life is much brighter and easier.
President’s Day – A day of patriotic celebration and remembrance. Celebrate all U.S. presidents past and present.
Random Acts of Kindness Week – Step out of your normal routine or comfort zone and attempt a new random act of kindness each day of the celebratory week.
Be Humble Day -Be humble, don’t brag. Don’t think of any task as “beneath you”. Practice humility this day and every day.
